Obviously describing over 100 revolutionary ideas in the area, The Psychology Book uses accessible text and simple to follow along with illustrations and graphics to describe the intricate theoretical and experimental bases of psychology. From its ancestral origins via behaviorism, psychotherapy, and developmental psychology, The Psychology Book appears at all of the greats out of Pavlov and Skinner into Freud and Jung, and can be a vital reference for students and anybody with an interest in the way the brain works.I have an above average IQ and I have always been interested in psychology (I’ve researched a fantastic piece of it) , but a number of the regions from the book are hard to follow. Not all of them, however a couple of subjects I needed to read numerous times and I didn’t know what stage they were hoping to make.I was trapped between 4 and 3 stars since I am disappointed in the book as a whole… But I am still glad I purchased it. Most the thoughts here are very intriguing. However they’re more of a beginning point than straightforward explanation of the entire idea. A number of them are so particular I think that it would be tough to follow up with Google to find out more about the subject. That being said I’ve learned theories I did not know existed.
