Details about The Burning Girls
The Burning Girls – Welcome to Chapel Croft. 500 years prior, eight protestant saints were singed at the stake here. Thirty years prior, two teen young ladies vanished suddenly and completely. Also, two months prior, the vicar of the nearby ward committed suicide.
Reverend Jack Brooks, a solitary parent with a fourteen-year-old little girl and a hefty inner voice, shows up in the town wanting to make a new beginning and discover some harmony. All things considered, Jack finds a town buried in mystery and a peculiar invite bundle: an old expulsion pack and a note citing sacred writing. “Yet, there isn’t anything concealed that won’t be uncovered and shrouded that won’t be known.”
The more Jack and little girl Flo get to know the town and its peculiar occupants, the more profound they are brought into their cracks, secrets, and doubts. Also, when Flo is upset by odd sightings in the old church, it gets obvious that there are phantoms here that will not be let go.
Yet, revealing reality can be destructive in a town where everybody has something to secure, everybody has joins with the town’s ridiculous past, and nobody confides in an untouchable.
