Leviathan – Hobbes has endured a destiny shared by numerous exemplary creators. His most noteworthy work is more frequently cited than cautiously and completely read. There are purposes behind this. Hobbes made careful arrangements to be quotable, now and then at the expense of clouding his message. Furthermore, Leviathan is an extremely long book, not the entirety of whose parts are clearly applicable to its focal reason. My point here is to give you some feeling of how the parts fit together and to avoid misunder-standings, which cause analysis and dismissal to appear to be simple.
